Every September, over 1 million people travel to West Springfield to experience The Big E, a 17-day event that pays homage to the region through sights, sounds, and lots of food.
For the 2022 edition, The Big E will be introducing new food vendors to an already exquisite lineup.
Make sure you go hungry. This food lineup will have your mouth watering.
If you have never been to The Big E, taking a stroll down the Avenue of States is a must. It’s the only six-state fair in the country.
“On this educational thoroughfare you’ll see impressive replicas of each New England state’s original statehouse sitting on land actually owned by that state,” says the official website. And of course, it’s the perfect opportunity to show off the cuisine that each state is known for.
Grab some Vermont Cheddar Cheese, enjoy a Maine baked potato, and a selection of Massachusetts seafood.
And heads up, "Rhode Island Day" is September 20th, and "Massachusett's Day" is September 22nd.
Don’t forget, The Big E is a marathon, not a sprint, so be sure to save room for these new food vendors coming on September 16th.
